The program welcomes artists, designers, writers, musicians, dancers, philosophers, entrepreneurs, creative directors, illustrators, photographers, filmmakers, athletes, researchers, and anyone driven by curiosity and a passion for discovery.
Guests choose between two tatami suites, each featuring a futon room and studio. Communal spaces include a private library, kitchen, workshop room, outdoor garden, and an expansive cellar (Kura) designed to foster community and collaboration.

Residents must be fluent in English and/or Japanese. The program is open to a wide range of creative professionals—artists, designers, writers, musicians, dancers, philosophers, and others. Working during the residency is permitted but not the primary focus.
