Overview

The Malamegi Lab Art Prize is an international competition open to artists worldwide, accepting works across various disciplines including drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, graphic design, mixed media, digital art, and video. 12 finalist artists will be selected for a high-profile group exhibition.

Awards

• Malamegi Lab Acquisition Prize: Malamegi Lab will acquire one of the 12 finalist works for its private collection, with a maximum purchase value of 2000 €. Works not for sale or exceeding this price may still compete for other awards.
• Cash Prize: 1000 € will be awarded to one of the 12 selected artists at the end of the collective exhibition, based on the quality and originality of the exhibited work. The awarded work remains the artist's property.
• Monographic Book: A monographic book will be dedicated to one of the finalist artists, produced, developed, printed, and distributed by Malamegi Lab with collaboration from the exhibition curators. Personal copies will also be provided to the artist.
• New Malamegi Collection: Malamegi aims to create a new collection of works by selecting one artist from the 12 finalists. This collaboration will allow the artist to develop an entire collection of their works, which will be promoted and presented to buyers in the company's commercial network.
• Group Exhibition: 12 artists will be selected for the final exhibition, which will open with a general catalog distributed throughout the exhibition period. Invitations will be sent to artists, curators, critics, journalists, and media in the host city.
