About
Overview
The Center for Photographic Art (CPA) announces the 2026 International Juried Juried Exhibition. Forty-five juror-selected photographs will be exhibited in the historic gallery in Carmel, California, with an additional forty-five images featured in an online gallery. An exhibition catalog will be available for purchase. Juror: Lisa Volpe, Curator and Head of Department of Photography at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.

Eligibility
Open to all living photographers worldwide, age 18 and older, working in all still photographic media (no video). There is no theme; any subject matter is eligible. Photographs accepted for previous CPA gallery exhibitions are not eligible.
Media & Submission
- Submit 3 to 20 still photographs (digital pigment, platinum, silver gelatin, ambrotype, etc.)
- Image specifications: 1920 pixels long dimension @ 72 ppi, AdobeRGB profile, 8-bit JPEG, maximum 5 MB
- Remove visible names, titles, watermarks
- Each image must have a title ("Untitled" not allowed)
- Use CallForEntry (CaFE) online entry system
Fees
- Early period (July 1 – August 27): $45 for CPA members, $65 for non-members (3 images)
- Regular period (August 28 – October 1): $55 for CPA members, $75 for non-members (3 images)
- Additional images: $10 each, up to 20 total
- Member discount available at checkout via discount code on CPA website

- First Place: $2,500
- Second Place: $1,000
- Third Place: $500
- Four awards of merit: $250 each
- The Salon Jane Award for Women in Photography: $1,000
- People's Choice Award (public vote): $150 plus cool CPA gear
