Monthly All Media Shows

Monthly All Media Shows The monthly All Media Show is a focal point of all Art Works’ openings. It is a juried show with cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. The show is open to all artists and all mediums. Every month there is a different juror who is a professional artist, art educator or curator. There is a small entry fee for each submission. You may submit up to 3 entries each month. If you join the gallery, the entry fee is discounted. The work must be for sale and your original art. Prints and giclee are not permitted. Photography is permitted, mixed media, paintings, sculpture, pottery, clay work, jewelry, etc.. Works on paper need to be framed. Simple frames are the best choice. Please ensure the back of your artwork is presented in a polished and professional manner. Avoid using tape, as it is considered unprofessional and does not meet the expectations of buyers who value high-quality craftsmanship. Entry fees are $15 per entry. (Gallery Members and Art Works Studio Artists are $9 per entry.) Not a member? It’s easy to join the gallery: Click here . Learn about the many benefits of being a gallery member. The art will hang in the gallery for about a month. Works on paper and photography must be framed. We have a hanging system, so please make sure that your piece has hooks or is wired to hang. Photography printed on metal or acrylic need not be framed provided there is a way to hang the piece. We strongly suggest black frames and white mats. Elaborate frames, and decorative frames distract from the artwork. Gallery commission is 40%. Please call us if you have any problems with submitting your artwork. We can help you.
