Grantees must manage their grants throughout the grant period and refer to the grant budget in the contract. Failure to manage grants properly may jeopardize current or future grant funding. Grantees must promptly notify the State in writing of any significant changes in the organization's structure, leadership, or financial circumstances that could affect services provided under the grant. Projects must be carried out as described in the original grant application. If changes are needed, submit an email to the program director with a detailed explanation of why, what those changes are, and the perceived impact on the project. Include the grant application or contract number.
Grant payments are made through the State of Tennessee Edison accounting system, which is separate from the Arts Commission's online grant management system. The State of Tennessee requires that all payments be made by direct deposit. New recipients and those historically paid by check must sign up for direct deposit. Arts Commission staff cannot access your Edison account or assist with direct deposit setup—contact [email protected] for assistance.
