Overview
Orange County Public Schools receives annual funding from the County to allocate to local partner programs providing arts enrichment to K-12 students. United Arts manages this funding stream and invites partner organizations and teaching artists to submit program proposals for the 2026-27 academic year. Eligibility
- Nonprofit 501(c)3 in good standing with Florida Division of Corporations and the IRS
- In good standing with any United Arts grant reporting
- Primary mission aligned with arts, culture, science, or history
- Completed one or more years of operation
- Cleared to work with students (Lunsford Form); OCPS Vendor Badge required if delivering on OCPS campuses
- For individual teaching artists: employed through an arts-based organization, bachelor's degree in discipline being taught, proven track record of artistic practice
Compliance Requirements
Allocated partner programs must execute an agreement through the UA Grant Portal, mirror approved programming on the UA Arts Education Page, provide program evaluation links to educator participants, provide detailed breakdown of CPALMS Standards support, submit photos and program narratives throughout the year, and communicate site visit opportunities. Teaching artists must be cleared through the FDLE Database for Offenders and Predators if delivering on OCPS campuses.
Payment & Invoicing
- Invoices due: 15th of each month
- Invoices must include only approved schools and programs
- 75% of program evaluation forms must be submitted by participating educators for invoice processing
- Pricing must match approved funding allocation notice
- Partner programs responsible for monitoring allocation balance; overages will not be funded
