Merry Marketplace 2026

Overview

Crooked Tree Arts Center presents Merry Marketplace, an annual indoor holiday art market celebrating handmade, original artwork. Artists can participate in one of two options: a curated gift gallery or a two-day pop-up market.

Options & Dates

• Option 1 - Expanded Holiday Gift Gallery: November 13–December 12, Cornwell Gallery. Curated, juried handmade art in all mediums, $6–$100.
• Option 2 - Merry Marketplace Two-Day Pop-Up Art Market: Friday, November 13, 11 AM–7 PM; Saturday, November 14, 10 AM–5 PM.

Key Dates

• Submission deadline: September 21, 2026
• Artist notification: September 30, 2026
• Deadline to accept invitation and pay booth fee: October 7, 2026
• Artwork drop-off (Gallery option): October 26–October 31
• Artist setup (Pop-up option): Thursday, 10 AM–5 PM or Friday, 8 AM–10:30 AM
• Artwork pickup (Gallery option): December 14–18 (weekdays) or December 19 (by appointment)
• Event takedown (Pop-up): Saturday immediately following at 5 PM

Application Requirements

Submit five high-resolution images of current work suitable for social media and advertising. If applying for the pop-up art market, include a booth photo.

Fees & Commission

• Application fee: $10
• Commission: 60/40 (40% to CTAC; artist receives 60%)
• Pop-up booth: Artists pay booth fee (amount not specified)
• Gallery art: Priced $6–$100

Gallery Option Details

Selected artists must complete an electronic inventory form and consignment agreement prior to delivery. Labels will be generated by CTAC.

Pop-Up Option Details

Booth space approximately 8'×6'. Artists provide table and table covering; CTAC provides chair(s) and electricity access.

Promotion & Support

Artists will be tagged on CTAC's website, Facebook, and email marketing. Names listed on CTAC website. Select artists may be featured in print materials. CTAC provides light snacks and beverages during the event.
