Workshop Details & Schedule
- Handbuilding with Patricia Shook (ages 5-10): Tuesday, October 13, 10:00 AM–Noon. Air dry clay project.
- Audition Workshop with Ellen Kimball (ages 5-10): Tuesday, October 13, 1:00–2:30 PM. Learn from a seasoned ACT performer and director.
- Pottery with Patricia Shook (ages 11-16): Tuesday, October 13, 1:00–3:00 PM. Ceramic clay project; fired items picked up at later date.
- Audition Workshop with Tyler Peaden (ages 11-16): Tuesday, October 13, 10:00–11:30 AM. Learn from a seasoned ACT performer and director.
Pricing
Artsplorations uses a tiered pricing structure (Pay What You Can). All tuition tiers provide access to the same program. Tier I: subsidized rate. Tier II: partially subsidized rate. Tier III: full cost reflecting staffing, materials, facilities, and admin. Tier IV: full Tier III cost plus supplemental donation to support other families. About the Instructors
Patricia Shook holds a degree in studio art with emphasis in ceramics from Mary Baldwin College and empowers students in class. Ellen Kimball, Executive Director Emerita of AACA, is a founding member of Athens Community Theatre and helps young people with auditions and performance. Tyler Peaden studied music and theatre at Tennessee Wesleyan University, has extensive performing and directing experience with ACT (including Mary Poppins, Beauty and the Beast, Frozen Jr.), and has choreographed multiple productions.
