CO.LABS

Overview

CO.LABS is an open, creative and independent platform that supports, develops and grows the cultural sector in the Brno region. It serves as an open platform and shared space for independent entities and individuals without a permanent space for creation, work, presentation and self-development. The cultural center is an open space for all seeking inspiration, entertainment, relaxation or a space for creativity and mutual cooperation.

Location & Facilities

The CO.LABS cultural center is located in Brno. The facility includes a large rehearsal room (54 m², 4.45 m clear height, capacity 14 people, not barrier-free), a small rehearsal room (37.3 m², 4.3 m clear height, fully barrier-free), a park with community spaces, and on-site accommodation.

Accommodation

Accommodation is available directly in the CO.LABS building in a maximum of 4 rooms of 2 people each. Toilets, showers and kitchenettes are shared in the hallway. Accommodation is reserved according to current capacity.

Facilities & Services

The park can be used for individual work, inspiration, community meetings, events, and international artist residencies. The park includes drinking water, tables, benches, a community kitchen, a community garden and a stage. Lighting and sound equipment rental is available.

Open Residencies

CO.LABS runs an Open Residencies project offering creatives of various fields who register the opportunity to use the Large Rehearsal Room, Small Rehearsal Room and CO.LABS_park spaces for free.
