Homesession is a nonprofit visual arts organization founded in 2007 in Barcelona supporting emerging and mid-career artists and curators through international mobility programs, production grants, exhibitions, educational mediation, and community projects.

A 2-month research or production residency (no exhibitions at the end). The space includes a ground-floor work/exhibition area with kitchen and bathroom, and a private 18 m² apartment on the upper floor with bedroom, private work/living space, and bathroom. All spaces are smoke-free and do not permit pets.

Private accommodation with fiber optic wifi, air conditioning/heating, and bed linens included. Access to all Homesession workspace. Note: During your stay, the space may host a visiting local artist exhibition for up to 4 days total (including setup/teardown).

Open to artists and curators of any nationality and age who do not currently reside in Spain. Check the website to see if your work aligns with Homesession's artistic direction.

Residency cost is €2,000 for 2 months (minimum). Includes accommodation and studio space. Does not include travel or living expenses. Homesession may cover up to €300 in production or material costs.
