Get matched →The Creative Futures Fund invests in bold, new work across all art forms that tell Australian stories and strive for next-level scale, ambition, and impact. Applications are assessed in two streams: Development and Delivery. This is not a pipeline fund; support for the Development phase does not indicate or guarantee future support for Delivery in later rounds.
Open to organisations meeting eligibility criteria. Projects must tell Australian stories and utilise intellectual property that is majority Australian-owned. Applicants working with First Nations artists, communities, or subject matter must adhere to Creative Australia's First Nations Cultural and Intellectual Property Protocols.
All applications must be submitted via Creative Australia's Application Management System. If registering for the first time, register well before the closing date as processing takes up to two business days. The application requires project title (max 100 characters), project summary (max 800 characters), organisation and lead artist description (max 2400 characters), creative concept explaining the distinctly Australian story (max 1500 characters), explanation of how funding enables next-level scale and ambition (max 1500 characters), details of previous developments (max 1500 characters), intellectual property ownership and agreements (max 1200 characters), and information about project partners.

Successful organisations providing services directly to children or whose activities involve contact with children must implement the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations.
