Overview
Art in the Park is a juried outdoor art market held in a beautiful treed park two blocks from the ocean in the center of Myrtle Beach. The show has been running since 1973 (53rd year). All work must be original and created by the displaying artist.
Key dates
- Submission deadline: October 7, 2026
- Exhibition: October 11–12, 2026, 10 AM–4 PM Saturday and Sunday
- Setup: All day Friday before the show and Saturday morning before 9 AM
- Space assignments: Notified 2 weeks prior to the show

- Spaces: 10 ft × 10 ft
- No drive-in trailers, vans, or storage on site; no spikes or screw downs
- Exhibit must be neat and visible on all four sides; containers must be hidden
- Vehicles not allowed in the park itself
Fees
- Non-WACG members: $140.00 per space + $10.00 non-refundable jury fee
- WACG members: $125.00 per space + $10.00 non-refundable jury fee
- One jury fee if registering for 2 or more shows at once
- Two checks required: one for jury fee, one for space fee
How to apply
Mail application with 3 photos of work, 1 photo of display setup, self-addressed stamped envelope, and two checks (made out to Waccamaw Arts & Crafts Guild) to: JoAnne Utterback, 3400 N Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach SC 29577.
Eligibility & guidelines
- All work must be original, created by the displaying artist without purchased molds, kits, or commercial mass production
- Reproductions allowed but not to exceed 50% of total exhibit (exceptions: call 843-446-3830)
- All work must match photographs submitted to jury
- Clearance or end-of-show sale signs prohibited
- If judged quality changes at the show, artist will not be invited back
- Failure to comply with rules results in dismissal with no refunds
Sales & taxes
- 6% South Carolina sales tax must be collected by all exhibitors and remitted to the state
- Sales tax licenses are the responsibility of exhibitors
- Security provided but exhibitors must take reasonable precautions
- Booth fees are non-refundable
