Overview
Now entering its 6th season, 2nd Sundays on Mill Ave is a vibrant community market experience in the heart of Downtown Tempe. On select Sundays throughout the season, Mill Avenue transforms into a pedestrian-friendly marketplace featuring local artists, makers, small businesses, farmers, nonprofit organizations, and food vendors. The market is designed to celebrate creativity, entrepreneurship, and connection while supporting Arizona-based businesses and organizations.

Eligibility
Arizona-based businesses, organizations, artists, creatives, makers, entrepreneurs, farmers, food producers, and nonprofit organizations with active 501(c)(3) designation.
Vendor Categories
- Artists & Creatives: Handcrafted, original, small-batch, vintage, upcycled, or artist-designed goods.
- Small Businesses: Entrepreneurs who thoughtfully source, curate, alter, or create products with a distinct brand identity and market presence.
- Farmers & Food Producers: Locally grown produce and Arizona-made edible products that arrive onsite pre-packaged.
- Nonprofit Organizations: Community-focused organizations with active 501(c)(3) designation.
Products Not Accepted
- Multi-level marketing companies (MLMs)
- Booths focused primarily on lead generation
- Mass-produced or wholesale buy/sell inventory
- Products containing offensive imagery or messaging
- Independent distributors
- Products with copyright infringement concerns
- Crafts assembled from commercial kits
Application Requirements
- Description of the products you intend to sell
- High-quality product photos (minimum 3 images required)
- At least one booth photo (required for all applicants; new vendors may submit a mock setup)
- Valid AZ Transaction Privilege Tax (TPT) License Number
Jury Process
All vendors are selected through a jury process. The jury may consider product quality and originality, booth presentation and visual merchandising, product diversity within the overall market, brand identity and professionalism, active and engaged social media presence, and overall contribution to the market experience. Returning vendors are also evaluated on attendance history, timeliness and communication, compliance with market policies, professionalism and collaboration with staff and neighboring vendors, participation in marketing efforts, and contribution to the overall market atmosphere and guest experience. Applicants may occasionally be waitlisted or declined if a product category is already heavily represented.
