Overview

The Centro de Creación Contemporánea de Andalucía (C3A) convenes artistic residencies for creators with grants of up to €7,000 for production expenses. Selected artists will develop their proposals over three months at this museum center, which has hosted 36 artists to date.

Eligibility

Open to Andalusian, Spanish national, and international artists with demonstrable professional trajectory in contemporary art and a concrete, viable project proposal. Ability to work in teams and collaborate with other artists and professionals is valued.

Program Details

The residency lasts three months. Applicants must indicate preference for January–April or April–July 2027 and may prioritize one if selecting both. A minimum of 80% in-person presence at C3A facilities during the assigned period is required. Selection will be made by a committee of contemporary art experts evaluating project quality, interest, artist trajectory, and curriculum.
