About
About This Call
La Maison des Artistes is calling for contributions from artists to highlight, through their works, testimonies and perspectives, the realities, commitments and questions around women's rights and their situation in the world. In March, the organization mobilizes to support women artists and address persistent inequalities in the cultural sector regarding visibility, recognition, remuneration, representation and access to opportunities.
Sexual Harassment Testimony
The Equality Commission for Women and Men of La Maison des Artistes invites victims or witnesses of sexual harassment or discrimination in the visual arts sector to share their testimony confidentially. Your experiences contribute to better documenting these realities and advancing the fight against sexist and sexual violence in the sector.
Selection and Award
16 awarded artists receive one year of free membership to La Maison des Artistes.
Commission Activities
The Women Artists Commission focuses on studies, projects and actions supporting professional women artists, including legal and civil studies, socio-professional research, and partnerships with enterprises and associations committed to supporting women in the arts across all disciplines: painting, sculpture, graphic design, digital works, installations, performances, literature, theater, and music.
