An online exhibition on Artsy for artwork inspired by animals. Cats, dogs, lizards, chickens, crows, possums, octopuses, emotional support tarantulas, and that raccoon stealing your neighbor's tomatoes - if it has fur, feathers, scales, shells, tentacles, hooves, wings, or way too many legs, it's fair game. Painting, sculpture, photography, fiber, ceramics, digital work, printmaking, assemblage, video, and every other medium are welcome.

  • Open Call: July 29 – August 30, 2026
  • Exhibition: September 1 – October 31, 2026
  • Applications close August 30, 2026

Open to all artists regardless of location, identity, or background. All 2D, 3D, mixed media, photography, textiles and digital works accepted. Especially encourages submissions from queer artists, artists of color, and artists with different abilities.

  • Title, medium, dimensions, year completed for each work
  • High-resolution images (JPEG, PNG, or PDF)
  • Short artist statement (100–200 words) explaining how the work fits the theme
  • $30 per submitted artwork
  • $5 for each additional image
