Southern Arizona (Tucson and surrounding counties and Tribal Nations)

The Arts Foundation for Tucson and Southern Arizona, with support from the National Endowment for the Arts and the City of Tucson, awards grants from American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds to individual Artists and Culture Bearers living and working in Southern Arizona. Approximately 40–160 grants will be awarded. Funds support artists providing arts services such as programming, workshops, facilitation, mentorship, artistic services, artwork, or consultations to clients including government, community groups, schools, non-profit organizations, community/civic partners, artist peers, businesses, and other entities.

Individual Artists and Culture Bearers residing and working in Southern Arizona (counties and Tribal Nations between the southern edges of the Gila River and the US-Mexico international border). Applicants must have identified a client they want to work with or to whom unpaid artistic services were provided during the eligible funding period.

Submit a proposal through the application portal including: artist profile, narrative describing the arts services to be provided, attachments (as required), financial information, and community alignment statement.

Upon completion of the work, the artist's profile will be promoted as a vetted business service provider in the Arts Foundation's online Arts Directory for Southern Arizona.
