Overview
The 13th annual St. Petersburg Fine Art Festival takes place at South Straub Park in the Waterfront Arts District in downtown St. Petersburg. This outdoor event was rated number 9 in USA Today's top 100 Art Shows 2024. St. Petersburg has been named the #1 arts destination for mid-sized American cities, with the festival located between Beach Drive NE and Bayshore Drive NE overlooking Tampa Bay, within walking distance of numerous museums, galleries, cultural venues, shops, and restaurants.

Media Categories
- Ceramics: Original clay and porcelain work, no machine-made or mass-produced items; each piece must be signed if multiple pieces of the same design are displayed
- Digital Art: Original works created or altered using a computer, limited editions only, signed and numbered on archival materials
- Drawing: Work using dry media (pencil, charcoal, pastel) or ink-based techniques (washes, pens)
- Fiber: Basketry, embroidery, weaving, leatherwork, tapestry, and paper-making; no machine tooling, machine-screened patterns, or mass production; no factory-produced wearable items
- Glass: Original work created in glass by the artist; no pressed glass or mass production
- Graphic & Printmaking: Hand-manipulated plates, stones, or screens, signed and numbered as limited edition; no offset reproductions; artists must disclose creative and printmaking processes
- Jewelry: Any jewelry regardless of material; no commercial casts, molds, or production studio work
- Metalwork: Non-sculptural, non-jewelry works crafted from metal; no production studio work
- Mixed Media: 2D and 3D works incorporating more than one type of physical material; jewelry and photography are not considered mixed media
- Painting: Oils, acrylics, watercolor; reproductions allowed if signed and in limited editions
- Photography: Photographic prints from the artist's original image processed by the artist or under direct supervision; images processed through software such as Photoshop belong in this category; all images editioned with editions not exceeding 250
- Sculpture: Three-dimensional original work in any medium (bronze, stone, acrylic)
- Wood: Original works that are hand-tooled, machine-worked, turned, or carved
