2026 Nexus Application Cycle

Overview

The Nexus Grant provides funding for new and emerging local small organizations, individual artists, and small arts businesses to produce creative public projects. There will be two application cycles in 2026, Nexus Round 1 (opening in March) and Nexus Round 2 (opening in September).

Key Dates for 2026 Fall Nexus (Round 2)

• Application opens: September 8
• Application closes: October 13 at 6:59 PM CST
• Activities happening: January 1, 2027 – December 31, 2027

Key Dates for 2026 Spring Nexus (Round 1)

• Application opens: March
• Activities happening: July 1, 2026 – June, 2027

Eligibility and Application Requirements

Only one complete application to the 2026 Nexus Grant may be submitted per applicant, per round. The Nexus Grant allows Fiscal Sponsors; the sponsored project must complete the application, which will be transferred to the Fiscal Sponsor if awarded.

• Attend AACME Funding Programs’ Virtual Open Office Hours.
