ARTSforward is an annual city-wide arts summit organized by Arts Fort Worth that brings together artists, performers, creatives, community advocates, and policymakers for an inspiring day of learning and connection. Friday 2/27 – Youth Summit
A special day reserved for high school students. Students will learn about degrees, local colleges/universities, and careers in the arts. Participants will engage in a collaborative art installation and round table discussions with arts leaders.
Friday 2/27 – Heart of Gold Reception
Join Arts Fort Worth at 6:00 p.m. for the Heart of Gold Awards reception, which lifts up community leaders who have made a lasting difference in the arts community. Includes heavy appetizers and drinks.
Saturday 2/28 – Art Summit
- State of the Arts Address by Arts Fort Worth Executive Director and President, Wesley Gentle
- Art in Public Places panel featuring local artists and project managers
- Advocating for the Arts in Texas by Chris Kiley, Executive Director of Texans for the Arts, and Krystal Jones, Director of the Department of Art and Culture of San Antonio
- Evolution of the Film Industry in Fort Worth
Ticket Prices
- Discount Saturday Ticket: $25 for those with limited financial means at the time of purchase
