Get matched →The Meurthe-et-Moselle Department is seeking artists to design, create, and install an artwork at the Plateau de Haye middle school in Nancy under the 1% artistic program. The work must engage with bioclimatic architecture, connect the school to the surrounding park, and express values of emancipation, inclusion, transmission, and equality. Student, staff, or parent participation and a mediation program are required. The work may occupy interior or exterior spaces of the new facility.
Applicants must exercise professionally in contemporary art, hold professional artist status (SIRET or equivalent), and provide materials in French. Foreign artists are eligible if they provide equivalent professional registration documents. CV, artistic portfolio, and motivation letter (in French) are required, along with DC1/DC2 forms or a signed DUME.
The artwork must align with the school's bioclimatic architecture, educational values, and park context. Artists must demonstrate the ability to engage students, staff, or parents in the creation process and develop lasting mediation tools and awareness campaigns for the school to use beyond the project.

Only three artists will be pre-selected. The first phase is based solely on the written submission (motivation letter, portfolio, CV); no complete artistic proposal is needed at this stage. The 82,132.97 EUR TTC award covers all project costs, not just artist fees, and the artist's actual compensation is not itemized separately.
