About
Overview
An exhibition celebrating The Art Department's new home at a former Argos building, inspired by the Greek myth of Argos Panoptes. Artists are invited to respond to broad themes centred on eyes, guardianship, vision, and symbolism.

Eligibility and themes
Open to international artists. Participants are invited to respond to broad themes including: Power & Guardianship, The All-Seeing Eye, The Eyes of Truth, The Third Eye, The Public Eye, Private Eye, The Eyes are the Windows to the Soul, The Iris of the Eye & Visions of the Cosmos, Tattoo Art, Eastern Eyes, and The Eye of Ra.

How to enter
All submissions must be made online. Artists can submit a maximum of six artworks. There is no hanging fee.
Sales and commission
Sales take place at the gallery only. The Art Department retains a 30% commission plus VAT (VAT @ 20% on the commission element only). Sales proceeds benefit the charity and contribute to organisation, hanging and marketing costs. The majority of work submitted is expected to be for sale.

The Art Department, Paisley, 9-11 Causeyside Street, Paisley PA1 1UW (opposite Paisley Centre). Exhibition hours: Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-4pm.
