Overview
This pilot program supports individuals and organizations in providing meaningful arts experiences for Minnesotans within their communities. Funds may be used for concerts, plays, tours, exhibitions, arts festivals, public art, or other activities that provide opportunities for people to engage in arts integrated into community or public life.

- Grant period: February 2027–January 2028; all funded activities must take place within this period
Eligibility
Both individuals and organizations are eligible. An individual must be an artist working in dance, media arts, music, photography, poetry, prose, theater, or two- and three-dimensional visual art; or a culture bearer trained by traditional elders or master artists. An organization must be a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt arts organization, a 501(c)(3) nonarts organization that regularly offers arts programming, a unit of state/local/tribal government, an arts affiliate of a nonprofit or public entity, or an arts group without 501(c)(3) status applying with a Minnesota fiscal sponsor. Individuals and organizations may each submit an application to only one Arts Board program in FY 2027.
