Consider the ways you may have a secondary use or process within your work, using jigs, templates, casts, molds, scraps, detritus, found objects, as a way of working, subject matter, or abstracting. Examples include Robert Rauschenberg's combines, El Anatsui's bottle cap installations, Ingrid Calame's stain tracings, or Rachel Whiteread's unconventional casting sculptures.
