Get matched →Once a year, the Associated Artists of Winston-Salem furnishes the Main Gallery of Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts for a highly competitive juried exhibit called ARTIST SPOTLIGHT. This exhibition showcases recent bodies of 2-D and 3-D work from a select number of AAWS members. Artists may submit up to 20 pieces, of which 5-8 are chosen. A cohesive body of work is integral to the creative and professional growth of an artist's career.
Any member of Associated Artists of Winston-Salem, Inc. who has not been featured in a prior ARTIST SPOTLIGHT exhibit in the past three years may enter. This exhibition is extremely competitive.
Every listing links to the organizer's official page. Always confirm deadlines, fees, and entry rules there before you apply.
Work may be for sale or marked NFS (not for sale). Artists set the sales price. The artist will receive 70% of the price, and AAWS will retain 30%. North Carolina sales tax is added to the sales price. All artists must complete an inventory sheet and label their work properly. If work is not for sale, mark it as NFS and include an insurance value on the Entry Form.
