Overview

The Do It Yourself section allows artists to place ads to promote calls for participation in festivals, exhibitions, contests, creative collectives, or art projects. This section is not curated or edited by DutchCulture | TransArtists, though they reserve the right to make final decisions on editing and inclusion of content.

How to place an ad

• Visit https://www.transartists.org/node/add/ta_ad to place your ad
• Mention the type of opportunity: festival, exhibition, contest, creative collective, or art project

Important note

The Do-It-Yourself system is NOT for residency opportunities - it is for everything else but residency opportunities.

Studio spaces

Artists can also use this free posting board to find temporary international studio swaps or to offer studio space. Up to 72 hours for ads to be published. When placing an ad, mention if you are looking for or offering a studio, if it includes accommodation, what disciplines can be practiced there, and when the studio is available.

Removing an ad

Ads are removed automatically 3 months after posting. To remove an ad earlier, send an email with the title of the ad and 'remove ad' in the subject line.

Publishing a residency

If you run an artist-in-residence program, send your open call via email to [email protected] to be considered for publication on the curated residency section of the website.
