Overview
The Ford Transfer Scholars Program is an undergraduate scholarship for community college students with significant financial need who are preparing to transfer to a four-year college. Up to 25 renewable scholarships are awarded each year to students from Oregon and Siskiyou County, California.

Eligibility Requirements
- Resident of Oregon or Siskiyou County, California
- Under age 25 by March 1 of the application year
- Current community college student or recent graduate of an accredited community college in Oregon or California
- Prepared to transfer to a four-year college with the goal of earning a bachelor's degree
- Has not previously earned a bachelor's degree
- Prepared to enroll full-time, on campus in fall of application year at a federally financial aid-eligible public or private nonprofit college in Oregon or California
- Face significant barriers—financial and otherwise—to attending college
- Completed financial aid application with Student Aid Index (SAI) of no more than 10,000
What We Look For
Our selection process recognizes hard work and resilience. There is no minimum GPA requirement, but we consider performance and progression in college to date. We seek students who exemplify: academic potential and curiosity; community engagement and service to others; strong work ethic; and a growth mindset that believes success comes from hard work and persistence.
