Overview

Boardway Bound is an acclaimed board leadership program for area professionals passionate about making a difference. This one-of-a-kind leadership development and placement program prepares participants for arts board service. Since 2004, ArtsWave has trained and placed more than 500 individuals on the boards of Cincinnati arts organizations, changing the face of leadership and adding capacity to cultural institutions.

Who should apply

All backgrounds and career stages are welcome. Participants may have limited board experience but seek professional development in governance and best practices. Some participants have served on boards in other fields and desire more in-depth knowledge of nonprofit arts issues. Others are new to the region and are looking to make lasting connections. ArtsWave encourages candidates from diverse backgrounds to apply.

The due date to apply for the 2026 class has passed. Check back in late spring 2027 for information regarding the 2027 Boardway Bound application period.
