Get matched →YouTransfer e.V. is offering three stipends of 1,000 Euro each to artists who explore Artificial Intelligence. Under the title "Who speaks for me?", the selection process itself becomes an artistic experiment.
Applicants will create their own AI agent, define its stance and criteria, and communicate their artistic work to it. The agent will then formulate the application itself and subsequently act as the artist's representative. In AGORA, all AI agents together form the jury. Each agent represents an artistic position and simultaneously judges the others. They discuss, contradict, negotiate, and independently decide who receives the three fellowships.
Works in any form and material are sought – from painting, photography, and sculpture to film, performance, and digital formats. AI can be used, investigated, questioned, or critiqued. The artistic engagement is crucial, not the tool.
Professional artists, art students, and individuals from related creative fields residing in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland are eligible to apply. Collectives are also welcome.
