New Works 2026 is a juried exhibition inviting regional artists to submit work that showcases bold directions, fresh perspectives, and evolving techniques. The exhibition celebrates new media, methods, and creative journeys, highlighting work created within the past two years and aiming to inspire dialogue between artists and audiences.

Eligibility

Open to artists 18+ living within a 150-mile radius of Floyd Center for the Arts. All artworks must have been completed within the past two years. All visual media are welcome. Artwork must be available for the full duration of the exhibition with no substitutions allowed.

Submission Requirements

Submit up to 3 digital images per artist via Call for Entry at www.callforentry.org. Submitted images should represent your skill level and unique artistic voice. All submitted works must be available to be shown, though not all submissions may be accepted. Video entries must include the digital file, display equipment, and clear installation directions. Artists of 3D works must provide display instructions.

Second Place: $150
Third Place: $100
People's Choice: $50

Fees & Commission

Entry Fee: $25 (non-refundable)
Sales Commission: Floyd Center for the Arts retains 40%; artist receives 60% via ACH payment

Delivery & Installation

Artists are responsible for delivery/shipping and return shipping. Artists must include a prepaid return label; if none is provided, a $20 administrative fee will be added to return shipping costs and the artist will be invoiced for reimbursement. Artists delivering large, heavy, or complex works are expected to assist with installation—coordinate timing with FCA staff.
