Rent Artist Space

Overview

The Mosesian Center for the Arts will rent two spacious studios (244 sq ft each) for the July 1 – November 30, 2026 rental cycle. Artists can rent for the full five-month period or for a shorter period with a minimum of one month. Each studio includes air conditioning/heating, Wi-Fi, 24-hour access, large windows with natural light, shuttle service to/from the Alexandria Campus, and access to common area sinks, café, and restaurant. Materials and artwork can only be stored in the studio.

Studio Options & Fees

• Private studio: $600/month
• Shared studio: $400/month (accommodates two artists)

Important Note

The studios are not equipped with special ventilation for toxic materials.

How to Apply

Fill out the application form and indicate whether you are applying for private or shared studio rental. For shared studio space, you can apply with a colleague or as an individual, and the center will match you with an appropriate studio mate. Include a link to your artist website(s).

Adjudication

Decisions are made on a rolling basis and are based on the quality of the artwork and materials used in making the artwork.

Location & Access

The center is located at 321 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA 02472, easily accessible from I-95/128, Routes 9, 16, 20, and 90 (Mass Pike), and MBTA bus lines. Free parking is available in the East Garage. Visit mosesianarts.org/visit/getting-here for detailed directions.
