Healing Arts Singapore is Asia's first national-level arts and health initiative. The Jameel Arts & Health Lab, Community Foundation of Singapore, and Temasek Foundation are seeking pilot projects to strengthen mental wellbeing through the arts, tackle health inequalities, and inform policy in Singapore and across the Western Pacific region.

Up to three pilot projects will be selected and supported. Each project evaluation will be overseen by a committee including the Jameel Arts & Health Lab, Community Foundation of Singapore, Temasek Foundation, Institute of Mental Health Singapore, Community Jameel, the National University of Singapore (Centre for Music and Health), and Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts at the University of the Arts Singapore. Evaluations will be guided by The THRivE Toolkit: Tools for Health Research and Evaluation in arts and heritage.

The pilot projects aim to identify innovative, scalable, long-term approaches to arts-based mental health interventions while generating evidence to inform national, regional, and global arts and health policy.

Projects should be based in Singapore or target communities in the Western Pacific region using arts-based approaches to mental health and wellbeing.
