November 2026 CAC Members Cornucopia Call For Entries

Overview

Crossroads Art Center invites gallery members to participate in a themed exhibition celebrating Cornucopia—An Exhibition of Abundance, Harvest & Creative Plenty. This juried show welcomes traditional, contemporary, whimsical, or conceptual work that speaks to richness in all its forms, from literal harvest imagery to abstract expressions of overflow and energy.

Theme Inspiration

• Harvest scenes, fruits, vegetables, florals, and natural bounty
• Textures of autumn, orchards, fields, seasons, and earth
• Symbols of gratitude, generosity, and abundance
• Still life arrangements bursting with color and form
• Metaphorical or emotional 'fullness'
• Cultural or mythological interpretations of the horn of plenty
• Abstract expressions of overflow, energy, vibrancy, or richness

Eligibility & Requirements

Open to Current Gallery Members only. Gallery membership is a different status than Artist-in-Residence. All work must be original, created by the artist. No reproductions or giclee prints accepted unless approved by owner. Works where the art process is the printed process (etching, monoprint, silkscreen, lithograph) or printed digital images created with Procreate, Photoshop, etc. are permitted. All 2-D work must be wired; no sawtooth hangers. Work previously accepted into a juried show at the art center may not be entered again.

Submission Details

Submit up to three works with an artist statement (200-word limit, first person). When filling out the form: use capital letters for name; do not type commas in prices; list measurements as HEIGHT x WIDTH x DEPTH. How you fill out the form is how it will appear on labels, awards, publicity, and online. No changes will be made after the call for entries ends unless the gallery is at fault.

Key Dates

• Call for Entries: October 1–October 18, 2026
• Artist Notification: On or before Friday, October 23, 2026
• Drop-off: Tuesday, November 10–Friday, November 13 by Noon
• Open House: Friday, November 20, 2026, 5pm–8pm
• Exhibition End: Sunday, January 3, 2027
• Unsold Work Pickup: Tuesday, January 5, 2027, 10am–5pm

Fees & Commission

Entry fee for gallery members is $15 per submission with a limit of three submissions. All work must be for sale. Commission on sales is 30%; artist receives 70%. All work must remain on display until the end of the exhibition; artists may not remove work early. There are no refunds.

Exhibition Details

The exhibit will be live at Crossroads Art Center and online on the gallery website. The gallery reserves the right to refuse work. Unsold pieces should be picked up during normal business hours on the designated date.

Payment Policy Notice

Please review your payment carefully before submitting. Select the correct category (member vs. non-member) to avoid overpayment. Multiple overpayments will not be refunded. If you need help entering the show through ArtCall online, assistance is available for $50 per entry by calling the art center and arranging an appointment.
