Teaching Artist Project (TAP) is a comprehensive 8-month training program designed to train artists to bring their creative process into classrooms by developing skills to model creative expression, collaboration, and teaching for social justice through innovative multidisciplinary arts lessons.

TAP envisions a world where all artists and learners work together to recognize and celebrate the power of their creative voices to manifest a more equitable future. The program is committed to exploring the process needed to create equity through arts education.

TAP workshops will be in-person for the 2026-27 cycle. The 8-month Signature Program will run from October 2026 through May 2027 including internships and externships, which will be in-schools and in arts administrative offices.
