Artist Development Sessions are monthly facilitated group meetings via Zoom designed to support your strategic, professional, and practical artistic career development. These sessions provide expert guidance, accountability, and the opportunity to connect with peers.

  • Sessions held monthly at 9:30am or 6pm (UK Time)
  • Morning sessions (9:30am) facilitated by Amy Jobes
  • Evening sessions (6pm) facilitated by Richard Kalman
  • All 2026 dates available to book in advance

When booking, include in the comments the two main challenges you are currently facing as an artist and any relevant contact information.

Available to Premium VAA Members only. You must book within 2 months of joining as a member.

  • Cancellations/rescheduling must be made with at least 48 hours notice, or you forfeit your right to attend
  • If you cancel 2 sessions, you forfeit your right to a session

Amy Jobes is a contemporary landscape painter and VAA mentor with expertise in gallery readiness, limited edition prints, branding, e-marketing, websites, partnerships, artist collectives, and residencies. Richard Kalman is founder of Crane Kalman Brighton gallery and provides mentoring on professional practice and portfolio development for photographers.
