About
Overview
The Coconut Grove Arts Festival selects up to 285 artists through a blind jurying process to exhibit original, handcrafted work. The festival features fine art and fine craft across multiple media categories.

Eligibility & Restrictions
- No reproductions allowed in Drawing & Graphics, Painting, Printmaking, Watercolor, or Mixed Media 2-D (including reproductions with modifications)
- No machine-made or mass-produced work permitted
- Archival quality materials must be used where applicable; editions limited to 250
Application Requirements
- Application fee: $40 (waived for 2026 award winners with code)
- Five images required per category: 4 individual works + 1 mandatory booth shot
- Artist statement: Up to 300 characters describing material and technique (read aloud to jurors)
- May apply in up to 3 categories, but only 2 entries can be accepted
Booth Image Guidelines
- New to art shows? Provide an image of a grouping of your body of work instead, with a brief explanation in the image title
Jury Process
- All jury decisions are final
- No quotas or entitlements by media category
- Diverse styles, techniques, and pricing range are sought
Waitlist
A waitlist will be developed for each category based on jury scores. Waitlist order is determined by total jury score and then by application date within that score range. Artists on the waitlist are notified via Zapplication and email of their acceptance.
Awards
- Judging occurs Saturday and Sunday, evaluating both artwork and booth presentation
- Winners announced Sunday afternoon
- $50,000 in awards presented at the 2027 Festival
Cancellation Policy
- Monday, November 30, 2026: Last day to cancel and receive full refund of booth fee (less $80 processing fee)
- Thursday, December 31, 2026: Last day to cancel with 50% refund of booth fee
- After December 31, 2026: No refunds will be processed
Collaborating Artists
- Only finished work resulting from the collaborative process may be displayed and sold
