Overview
Casa na Ilha is a self-directed residency on Ilhabela Island, an ecological paradise covered by Atlantic rainforest on Brazil's north coast, 200 km from São Paulo. Artists from all disciplines work with uninterrupted self-directed time, supported by an on-site tutor available 24/7 to discuss ideas and projects. Groups of 2–6 artists stay simultaneously, fostering peer interaction and interdisciplinary learning.

- Private room with ocean view and ensuite private bathroom
- Main shared studio with ocean view, individual desks in rooms, and other indoor/outdoor work spaces

- Shared room ocean view (2 weeks): $1,400 USD
- Shared room ocean view (3 weeks): $1,700 USD
- Shared room ocean view (4 weeks): $1,980 USD
- Private room (2 weeks): $1,980 USD
- Private room (3 weeks): $2,690 USD
- Private room (4 weeks): $2,985 USD
- Partners not participating in the program pay 50% of the private room fee

What the Residency Offers
Self-directed work time with no set schedule or pressure to deliver finished work. On-site tutor available 24/7 to discuss ideas, projects, and progress, respecting each artist's pace and direction. Guidance on contacting organizations and making necessary arrangements for projects. Opportunity for peer interaction and interdisciplinary learning with other resident artists.
