Theme: Myth
Myth is an important foundation of traditional folklore and sustained in contemporary culture. It may be invented or imagined, provide a rationale for experience, and be used to prescribe behavior. Myth can be dismissed as false and misleading, or embraced as a source of creativity and inspiration. It is a cultural expression shaped by our own life experience, informing how we distinguish untruth from truth, the fanciful from reality, and non-fiction from fiction.
