Our Biannual Exhibitions are always celebrated in May and November and curated exclusively from the work submitted through these calls for entry. ALL artwork commissioned and exhibited at Angad Arts Hotel is from artists within 200 miles . This is what it means to be the first arts hotel in Saint Louis! We can't wait to see what you have been working on.THE EARLY BIRD GETS THE WORM! No entry fee through MIDNIGHT Thursday, October 1st! Final deadline Sunday, October 11th at midnight. There is NO THEME for this submission process. We are always most excited to exhibit the works that you are most excited to share. What have you been working on? Tell us what you have been inspired by in your statement. Maybe you have some new tricks up your sleeve. Share with us so we can share with the arts community of Saint Louis and all our national and international guests traveling through!!! No entry fee through MIDNIGHT Thursday, October 1st!$35 entry fee applied after midnight October 1st.Final submissions due midnight Sunday, October 11th 2026. Final pieces must be professionally framed and/or ready for display. This means all framed pieces have wires on the back, no sawtooth hooks and all wrapped canvas are painted on the sides if not framed and also have hanging hardware. Submissions MUST INCLUDE final dimensions with framing. Pictures with framing of final works are preferred for submissions however, if not yet framed, please list the final dimensions in submission. ***If artwork presented does not match dimensions listed or is not professionally framed it may be rejected at delivery.***Angad Arts Hotel (AAH) is excited to invite submissions for artwork from the Greater Saint Louis region for display in 2026. The artwork selected will be prominently showcased in the public areas of Angad Arts Hotel, the first arts hotel in Saint Louis and the first hotel in the world where one can book their room by the color of emotion. Our rooms are Empowerment Red, Rejuvenation Green, Freedom Blue and Curiosity Yellow. The artwork will be part of the burgeoning art scene of the Grand Center Arts District with high visibility to the public and opportunity for sale.We pride ourselves on only featuring artists within 200 miles of the hotel. Each biannual exhibition portrays the breadth of the talent in this region.Submissions may include but are not limited to drawing, painting, graphic design, photography, printmaking, glass, assemblage, collage, written word, fiber*, sculpture** or video media***. Final pieces must be professionally framed and/or ready for display. *TEXTILE ARTISTSSpecial opportunity for textile artists! A unique installation opportunity is available for a large textile piece. The height is a fixed dimension at 110 inches. The width dimension can vary from 60 inches wide to a max 300 inches wide. This piece would be a focal point of the reception desk of the hotel. Can’t swing it this time? Don’t worry, this opportunity is available for every biannual call.**SCULPTURETo be viewed on a wall protruding no more than six inches with professional hanging hardware included for weight bearing drywall installation.***VIDEO MEDIATo be viewed on a TV via USB, this installation is located in our express elevators.
