Small Favors, now in its 20th year, invites US artists to create small-scale artworks (fitting in a 4-inch plexi cube) in any media. Works will be displayed in individual plexi cubes hung in a grid and sold through the gallery and online shop.

  • Submit up to 3 objects for review (not all accepted)
  • Each object must be for sale
  • Size limit: 3.75" × 3.75" × 3.75" (must fit in 4-inch plexi cube)
  • Retail price not to exceed $350
  • Each object judged individually
  • Image file names must not contain spaces
  • Optional $25 application fee

The Clay Studio retains a 50% commission on sales. Payments are made to artists via Bill.com within 45 days of sale. Unsold work ships free (domestic shipping only for out-of-area artists) beginning after the show uninstalls; return processing takes up to 60 days.

A guest juror (to be announced) and Jennifer Zwilling, Curator of Artistic Programs, will select works. Each piece must precisely fit the cube; oversized work will not be included. Works with glaze flaws, structural issues, or sharp edges may not be displayed or posted for sale at the curator's discretion.
