Overview
Art Volt, in collaboration with FutureBound, GradPro Skills, and ELAN, presents a series of fall 2024 workshops for artists. A second release of workshops is planned for October.
Workshops
- Budgeting with Loans, Gifts, and Other Lump Sums: Friday, October 4th, 2024, 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm, online. Presented by FutureBound with Chris Enns. Focus on budgeting strategies for variable income and lump sums.
- Project Management: Thursday, November 7th, 2024, 9:30 am to 1:30 pm, in-person at EV 2.776. Presented by GradPro Skills with Lina Moreno. Covers traditional, agile, and hybrid project planning frameworks and visual planning tools.
- Q&A: How to Find and Fund Residency Opportunities in Canada and the US: Thursday, November 14th, 2024, 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm, online. With Claire Huschle. Interactive session on residency applications and funding strategies.
Eligibility
- Budgeting workshop: Open to Concordia undergraduates and recent Fine Arts alumni.
- Project Management: Open to graduate students and a limited number of recent Fine Arts alumni (within 5 years).
- Residency Q&A: Open to recent Fine Arts alumni who have graduated within the last five years.
