About
Overview
The Blacksburg Regional Art Association and Virginia Tech Center for the Arts present the second annual 35 Under 35 juried exhibition showcasing emerging regional talent. The exhibition will be displayed November 3–20, 2026 at The Center for the Arts at Virginia Tech.

Eligibility
Artists residing in Virginia who have not turned 35 by November 2, 2026 are eligible. Artwork must be original and suitable for display in a family-friendly public space. Works previously submitted to 35 Under 35 exhibitions are ineligible.
What to submit
- Up to 3 original artworks per artist
- 2–5 images representing your works (no video or audio)
- All media accepted except AI-generated work
- 2D: max 40" in either direction, must have suitable hanging hardware (no sawtooth)
- 3D: max 50 lbs, must fit on a 24" × 24" pedestal
Fees
Entry fee: $5 for up to 3 works of art.

- Best in Show: $300
- 2nd Place: $200
- 3rd Place: $100
- Honorable mentions at juror's discretion
What happens next
Accepted artists will receive a separate notification email with delivery/drop-off and pickup instructions. Artworks must remain on display for the entire duration of the exhibition.
