Art Splash 2027 is the fourth annual juried fine art and makers fair in downtown Cheboygan, Michigan, featuring handmade work and art-related activities including workshops and live music.

  • Submission deadline: May 1, 2027
  • Artist check-in: 7:00 a.m., Friday, July 16
  • Booths operational by: 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 16
  • Exhibition: Friday, July 16 (12:00–6:00 p.m.) and Saturday, July 17 (9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.)
  • Vendor pack-up begins: 4:00 p.m., Saturday, July 17
  • All vendors must depart by: 7:00 p.m., Saturday, July 17

You must make your own products (no buying and reselling), no independent distributors, no items with copyright infringement, and no products with offensive messages or imagery. Artists are juried throughout the application process.

  • Application fee: $35 (non-refundable)
  • Juried art booths: $200
  • Maker's booths: $100
  • Minimum 5 images required to apply
  • Application response time: within one week

The jury evaluates applications based on uniqueness, skill level, medium, category, and booth display. As booths for similar categories fill up, that category closes to maintain diversity.

  • Best in show: $300
  • 2nd place: $200
  • 3rd place: $100 (awarded July 16)

Coffee, donuts, and bottled water provided. Volunteers available for booth sitting up to 15 minutes. Artist parking is designated; vehicles must be parked before setup. Vendors must stay for both days. On Saturday, bring a ticket to load your vehicle at your booth.

Cheboygan Opera House and Main Street, Cheboygan, Michigan, connected by accessible sidewalks to free public parking and adjacent to the concurrent Farmer's Market.
