About
Submit 1–20 images of figurative artworks in visual media (excluding video) for curatorial review and potential inclusion in an online collection with 60+ days of presentation and sales opportunity.
Overview
Naturalist Gallery of Contemporary Art is conducting a curatorial review for the Figurative Art Collection. Selected works will be presented online as part of a structured collection examining contemporary approaches to figuration, representation, and the interpretation of the human form within visual art. Accepted works will be listed for sale within the collection for a minimum duration of sixty (60) days.
Theme
Figuration has persisted as one of the most enduring frameworks in artistic practice. Works may explore traditional figure-based representation, distorted or symbolic bodies, narrative figuration, or conceptual treatments of human presence and absence. The collection seeks works that demonstrate thoughtful engagement with the expressive possibilities of the figure.
