About
Overview
InLiquid, a Philadelphia-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit, seeks an Audience Development Intern to help connect artists and audiences in the region. This unpaid internship is available for college credit and involves community outreach, event promotion, and database management to increase awareness of InLiquid's free arts programming and exhibitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Report to the Development Director and work with communications and programming staff
- Conduct outreach to civic groups, businesses, apartment complexes, and schools through research, phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings
- Enter and update community contact information in the Neon CRM database
- Encourage local businesses to participate in events and support artists through sponsorships and promotional opportunities
- Draft and design event-specific emails, fliers, and printed and digital materials
Qualifications
Ideal candidates care deeply about the arts, are strong communicators, have database or Excel experience, and can work independently and collaboratively. Must be open-minded, compassionate, and aware of diversity, equity, and inclusion issues. Spanish language skills are helpful but not required.
Preferred Background
Arts Administration, Visual Arts, Communications, or related field. Strong writing and computer skills preferred. Design skills useful but not required.
