ArtFundMe is an independent creative award platform based in the UK, open to applicants worldwide. It runs a quarterly grant program for artists, makers, and creative storytellers. Submissions are reviewed by a panel against published judging criteria. One artist receives the main grant each cycle, and 18 additional applicants receive Honorable Mentions and may be featured across the platform's channels.

Applicants submit examples of their creative work along with the personal story or journey behind it. Applicants retain full copyright of their work; selected artists grant ArtFundMe permission to share submitted images, name, artist statement, and links for promotional, editorial, and winner-announcement purposes.

  • Main grant: $1,000 (unrestricted)
  • Feature on the ArtFundMe website
  • Social and email announcement
  • Optional interview/profile for the main grant winner
  • 18 Honorable Mentions per cycle, who may also be featured on the website, email, or social channels

Judging is weighted by: strength of creative work (35%), story/journey/lived experience (25%), originality/personal voice (20%), clarity of purpose for how the grant may help (10%), and overall emotional, creative, or cultural impact (10%).

Applications are submitted online. The application fee is $35 USD per application (non-refundable). The organizer states the fee supports the grant award, application review, administration, selected-artist promotion, platform costs, and general running of ArtFundMe.
