About
Overview
SAIKONEON Artist-in-Residence, established in April 2019, is a platform dedicated to research, creation, and exchange among diverse creators who transcend disciplinary boundaries. Situated on the serene shores of Lake Saiko in Yamanashi Prefecture with views of Mount Fuji, the residency is less than two and a half hours from Tokyo. It welcomes artists and designers from around the world working across painting, photography, film, visual art, dance performance, and installation.
Eligibility
International artists and designers working across diverse media are welcome.

Program Terms
- Term 1: 4/13–5/12 (30 days)
- Term 2: 5/15–6/13 (30 days)
- Term 3: 6/17–7/16 (30 days)
- Term 4: 7/21–8/19 (30 days)
- Term 5: 8/28–9/26 (30 days)
- Term 6: 10/2–10/31 (30 days)
- Term 7: 11/4–12/3 (30 days)
Residence Fee
¥280,000 per term (30 days).
