Overview

The ASEAN Secretariat invites Myanmar artists to participate in the ASEAN Artists Residency Programme (AARP) to explore ASEAN identities and deepen mutual understanding across diverse global cultures.

What You'll Create

Selected artist will produce one original artwork during the one-month residency for donation to the ASEAN Gallery's permanent collection. Work in studio format and participate in activities and events organized by ASEAN Member States and the ASEAN Secretariat.

Acceptable Media

Painting in acrylic, batik, Chinese brush, collage, crayon, ink, mixed media, oil, watercolour, or any other media. Collages, two-dimensional embossed paintings, and three-dimensional paintings also acceptable. Other mediums may be acceptable subject to selection committee approval.
