SWANFALL ART invites artists, designers, and creative practitioners worldwide to apply for ROAR: Rhapsody of August Riot, an open curatorial proposition welcoming ambitious, experimental, and interdisciplinary work. ROAR is grounded in the belief that freedom remains an essential condition of serious creative practice—freedom to take risks, follow instinct, test new forms, and pursue ideas not yet fully resolved.

Artists, designers, makers, performers, and creative practitioners working across visual arts, design, digital and media arts, performance and live arts, sound and music, and publications.

  • Wall-mounted works: maximum side length 1.5m
  • Large sculptures or installations: maximum height 2m
  • Option 1: Individual Artworks—Submit up to 3 works for consideration. Recommended for artists presenting a clear concept, focused project, or small series. A cohesive set of related works may be considered as one.
  • Option 2: Full Portfolio Entry—Submit your full portfolio for a comprehensive curatorial review. This option allows our team to engage with your broader practice and select the works that most resonate with the exhibition theme.
  • Early Bird Deadline: 15 July 2026
  • Final Submission Deadline: 10 August 2026

  • Full portfolio (unlimited works): £55 (Early Bird) / £65 (Regular)
  • All payments are non-refundable and do not guarantee selection. There is no additional exhibition participation fee for selected applicants.

  • All exhibiting artists receive an official exhibition certificate, virtual exhibition tour listing, networking opportunities, feature on official exhibition page, artwork sales support, and priority consideration for future SWANFALL exhibitions. All submitting artists receive a digital Artist Career Guidebook.

The exhibition runs 24–29 August 2026 at Mall Galleries, London, located between Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square, adjacent to St James's Park, at the heart of London's cultural and historic district.
