Opportunity
The Urbandale Art Gallery offers exhibition space at the front of Urbandale Public Library, a high-traffic area. The gallery has over 120 running feet of hanging space with professional lighting and a flexible hanging system, plus glass cases for small to medium-sized 3-dimensional works.
Exhibition Details
Most shows last four to six weeks. You may arrange sales of your work during the exhibit, and the gallery provides a hosted reception one Sunday during your show.
Eligibility
Open to professional and amateur artists from the Des Moines metro or surrounding area.
Compensation & Fees
There is no compensation and no fees for gallery exhibits.
How to Apply
You can apply to be part of a group show or individual show. Apply at your convenience; the deadline for 2027 shows is September 30, 2026. All submissions are juried in the early fall for consideration for the following year.
