Get matched →The Urbandale Art Gallery offers exhibition space at the front of Urbandale Public Library, a high-traffic area. The gallery has over 120 running feet of hanging space with professional lighting and a flexible hanging system, plus glass cases for small to medium-sized 3-dimensional works.
Most shows last four to six weeks. You may arrange sales of your work during the exhibit, and the gallery provides a hosted reception one Sunday during your show.
Open to professional and amateur artists from the Des Moines metro or surrounding area.
There is no compensation and no fees for gallery exhibits.
You can apply to be part of a group show or individual show. Apply at your convenience; the deadline for 2027 shows is September 30, 2026. All submissions are juried in the early fall for consideration for the following year.
